Welcome to Liberty Center Local Schools

Liberty Center Local Schools currently serves approximately 1,200 pre-school through 12th-grade students in Henry County as well as a small portion of Fulton County.  The district currently operates 3 buildings, Liberty Center Elementary school, serving grades PK-4; Liberty Center Middle School, serving grades 5-8, and Liberty Center High School, serving grades 9-12.  Our district offers a variety of co-curricular and extra-curricular activities designed to provide choices for all students to take an active part in the educational process.  Vocational education services are provided through affiliation with the Four County Career Center located in Archbold, Ohio.

Through the collaborative efforts of the Ohio Facilities Construction Commission and the Ohio School Facilities Commission, the district is involved in a $42.6 million, PK-12 construction project.  The building was completed in December, 2017, with the total project completed in  August 2018.

An update from the superintendent's office:

Good Afternoon,
Attached is a county-wide press release regarding a new quarantine plan for schools that goes into effect immediately.  The Henry County Health Department and Henry County school superintendents worked together to create this plan.  As we continue to learn and adapt to living in a world with COVID, we were able to create a plan that accounts for student and staff safety while also keeping students and staff in school as much as possible.
Thank you for your continued support.
Richard A. Peters
